Merry Christmas from Woodcraft UK and Looking forward to 2024

Posted on December 11, 2023

From all of us here at Woodcraft UK we would like to wish all of our customers and followers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

2023 has yet again proved to be a very busy year for us at Woodcraft with some really big projects completed. Here are some of the highlights.

Woodcraft Goes Global!

Over the course of this year we have seen an uplift in enquiries and orders from customers overseas. Our wooden garden benches are now finding homes all over the world as more and more international customers are ordering from our core range of benches or ordering a totally bespoke, made to measure curved wooden benchs and outdoor tables. We have had enquiries coming from locations such as Canada, America, Central Europe, Dubai and Japan. This has truly been an exciting time for us as and we hope it's a trend that will continue into 2024!

In October we built a curved bench for Bushy Park

Bushy Park in Richmond upon Thames, London became home to a brand new curved wooden bench in October that we created. It was great to see this project take shape and being installed in such a beautiful location

New Curved Bench for Bushy Park

This year saw the creation of the Tatton Park bench

In 2018, we created a bespoke curved bench which won the Silver Gilt Medal in the Tatton Park RHS Flower Show. That should be where the story ended, however, 2023 saw a few enquiries for us to recreate the bench for private customers.

The shape has a very modern, minimalist approach and suits landscape gardens and spaces with a designed theme, lining the side of a tranquil pond or firepit. We think this bench may well become part of our core range but for now we'll just call it the Tatton Park bench.

More benches heading to London

This year saw orders increase for our benches to be installed at various locations in London parks. Sledge benches and special Back to Back benches continue to be commissioned for London and we're really pleased with them so far

A new Mendip bench for local fishing lake in East Yorkshire

We created an 8ft Mendip bench for the picturesque fishing lake at Risby Folly near Beverley Westwood. The bench was delivered and installed for a private customer to commemorate a much loved family member and we hope it fulfils our client's expectations.

Looking Forward to 2024

So 2023 has proved to be a very productive year for us. With 2024 ahead, we expect to have some great new exciting projects ready for us to get stuck into.

More international orders beckon as we see our benches set sail across the world as well as continuing to serve our customers closer to home

We hope that you have had a great year too and would like to wish all of our customers, old and new, the very best wishes for Christmas and a prosperous New Year for 2024!

All the best
