On the A164 north of Hull heading towards Beverley Westwood lies the picturesque Risby fishing lake. Risby is the site of a deserted medieval village and former stately home in the civil parish of Rowley and the area has a partially wooded parkland, once one of the largest deer parks in Yorkshire, that is popular with local ramblers. There are several course fishing ponds in the ornamental lakes of the former hall and the site also has a stunning Grade II listed octagonal brick folly.

We think this location is a lovely resting place for one of our benches heading that way very soon and we are really grateful to be able to fulfil this order.

8 foot Mendip bench with centre leg for fishing spot

This order is for one of our 8 foot Mendip benches complete with a memorial inscription. The bench is being delivered and installed at Risby fishing lakes for a private customer to commemorate a much loved family member and we hope it fulfils our client's expectations.

Inscription on 8 foot Mendip bench for fishing spot

Our Mendip range of memorial benches are hand built to order and come in a variety of sizes and because we are a bespoke manufacturer of wooden benches, we can make any of our benches specific to your requirements.

We hope this bench feels at home on the banks of Risby fishing lake and provides a valuable resting place for many a fisherman or rambler wishing to pause, take in the view and read the commemorative inscription.
