Unveiling the Bespoke Low Back Lutyens Bench

The culmination of craftsmanship and design has resulted in the completion of a new low back Lutyens bench. This bespoke piece, now ready for its final destination, represents a unique adaptation of the classic Lutyens design.

Following a previous post detailing its production (A New Low Back Lutyens Bench Taking Shape), this bench stands as a testament to the skill and precision involved in its creation. The design is based on the timeless Lutyens bench, but with a distinctive low back rest, offering a fresh perspective on a well-established form. This particular bench is destined for a private customer, crafted to their specific requirements and guided by the provided drawing.

The team's expertise in crafting the traditional Lutyens bench, including experience with two standard sizes, allowed for a seamless execution of this custom project.

The low back design provided a welcome variation from the more familiar forms, allowing for a creative exploration within the established framework. This project highlights the team's ability to adapt and innovate while maintaining the core principles of quality and design.

As you can see from the final production shots, a key feature of this bench is the engraving on both ends. This service is provided in-house and is completed to the same high standards as the rest of the bench.

The customer promised to send us some pictures when it is installed so we'll post them here when they arrive. We cannot wait to see the bench in it's new home!
