Another York Memorial Bench Joins the East Park Landscape

East Park in Hull has become a familiar destination for the Woodcraft team over the years, with many of our handcrafted memorial benches now providing places to sit, remember and enjoy one of the city's best-loved green spaces.

Our latest visit saw Mike installing this new 6ft York bench in a lovely position beside the park's boating lake.

The York has long been one of our most popular memorial bench designs, and it's easy to see why. Traditionally styled, generously proportioned and handcrafted from durable hardwood, it feels perfectly at home in established parks and gardens such as East Park.

There's always something particularly satisfying about seeing a bench leave the workshop and finally take its place in the landscape it was made for. Freshly installed, the timber has a beautiful warm, natural appearance which will gradually mellow and weather as the seasons pass.

For Mike, it was another trip to a very familiar location – and another Woodcraft bench joining the many already dotted around East Park.

We hope it will be enjoyed for many years to come.
