Derwent Waterside Park offers a perfect setting for fishing, rambling, cycling and many other outdoor pursuits. Near Consett, County Durham, the park is situated on the banks of the Derwent reservoir which is three and a half miles long and covers an area of four square kilometres.

This is a great place for one of our Staxton park benches to be located and so we were more than happy to be able to fulfil an order for a private customer.

The view from the bench offers a wide panorama of Derwent reservoir down to the valve tower and is a great stop off point for hikers who are walking around the reservoir.

The Staxton park bench is a very popular bench with beauty spots as it's minimal design is intended to be functional rather than decorative. It has two sturdy legs that are anchored deep into the ground and provides a strong platform to rest tired legs.
