Two Beverley Memorial Benches Heading to East Park, Kingston upon Hull

Many parks across the UK have provided a home for a Woodcraft bench but none more so than East Park in Kingston upon Hull. There are now currently around 30 of our wooden benches in East Park providing a resting stop for families, joggers and dog walkers alike. All of them have been purchased individually by private customers over the years to mark a tribute to people, pets and local causes.

Here are a handful of the many benches we have installed in East Park in Hull over the years. As you can see some have weathered but each one lasts for a good twenty years or more.

A commemorative memorial bench is a lovely way to remember someone, whether it's the passing of a much loved family member or to mark a tribute to someone, such as a local war hero or historical figure. As such we have engraved each bench with their personalised message and the benches stand the test of time, ageing over the years as they become an integral part of the park's beautiful scenery.

Two new benches ready to be installed

Our customers have chosen from our wide variety of bench styles that we offer, The York bench, The Scarborough bench and The Mendip bench are all present and correct in East Park. The latest two benches to head there from The Beverley bench range. These two benches will be inscribed with a memorial tribute and will then be installed at locations of our customers choosing.

Both Beverley benches are 5 feet in length and hand built from sustainable Iroko. The decorative front and top rails are what makes this style of bench stand out. The benches however, are very sturdy and will last in the park for many years to come.
