Making Memorial Benches during the Coronavirus outbreak

Coronavirus update: Business as usual!

Posted on March 19, 2020

Dear All

As I'm sure you're all well aware by now a lot of businesses, shops and services are closing due to the novel CoronaVirus outbreak. I hope you are all faring well under these surreal circumstances and not feeling too anxious about current events. It's a bit like being trapped inside an episode of Dr Who or a dystopian sci-fi movie, isn’t it?

In response to the current climate we are taking all precautions to protect our staff, and support our customers at the same time.

Our aim is to reduce the potential for the local spread of the corona virus (Covid-19) and as such the office is fully equipped to work remotely from home, and we are already experienced in doing that.

The production team will be able to work staggered hours in order to reduce personal contact, over and above whatever the Government recommends.

Fully operational PPE (personal protective equipment, face masks, air filtering equipment etc.) is constantly in use in our workshops anyway, as a matter of course.

This will continue as long as the Government permits, and it is unlikely that our customers will notice any change.

There is no need to stockpile any of our quality Garden Benches although we wouldn’t want to discourage it ! – all of

our standard and bespoke production facilities are working as normal.

In fact if we hadn’t mentioned it, you probably wouldn’t have known !

Any changes to this and we will be in touch.

Lastly, take good care of yourselves and your loved ones. If we do have to go into ‘lockdown’ then I hope you have enough healthy provisions, disaster movie boxsets and sunny evenings in your garden to see you through a few weeks.
