Humber Estuary Development

A distinctive creation designed by Woodcraft UK in response to a Local Authority request for a seat appropriate for a riverside park and play area. Solidity and vandal-resistance were specified but in addition it was required that the shape of the seat should reflect the movement of the water and the overall location of the park.

Woodcraft UK design team developed the unique “Waveform Seat", which is both sturdy and functional and presents an attractive visual image unmistakably shaped by nautical influence and the extensive curvature of the Humber Bridge.

The Waveform Seat can be supplied with standard legs for direct standing, or with extra-long legs, which allow it to be concreted permanently into position.
